At Mini Mitten Pediatric Therapy, our goal is to care for the mini members of our community, and we believe that mission begins with caring for moms. Perinatal mental health plays a vital role not only during pregnancy, but throughout the first few months and years after birth - when emotional, physical, and identity changes can feel overwhelming.

Historically, we hire personal trainers to facilitate fitness journeys and tour guides to help us navigate new spaces, so why wouldn't we do the same for people entering into one of the most extraordinary life changes a person can possibly make? The world asks a lot of moms, but we want to ease the pressure. We want women to understand that prioritizing one's mental health isn’t selfish; it’s essential. When moms are supported, families thrive.

We are absolutely thrilled to offer high-quality, individualized care with a licensed, specialized social worker who is deeply committed to supporting mamas in our community. Our goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space in which women at various stages of motherhood can process thoughts and feelings related to pregnancy, birth, delivery, and the postpartum period. We want to support our minis by helping our moms develop healthy, effective coping strategies for every step of their motherhood journey.
